After a sell out success it seems the critics are also behind her Hazel Tree production of “Grotto” which stormed the Lass o’Gowrie this December.

Actors Direct and David Jason at BBC Manchester - 22/01/2012
BBC Manchester are scheduled to begin shooting the pilot for new dark comedy, “Pearly Gates” directed by none other than David Jason.
The wonderful new show about funeral directors in the North West will hopefully be turning into a full comedy series, and is also starring our very own Roger Grainger as a vicar for the funerals.
We wish all the best to the Beeb, David, and Roger in this new project.

The newest actor to join our fantastic agency, Taresh has had a great career, on stage and screen, having played Dr Haywood in Emmerdale, and recently playing the almost sadistic cynic, Judge Hawthorne in Arthur Miller’s The Crucible.

Pam brings Trainspotting to home city - 16/08/2011
Spud Theatre is presenting Harry Gibson’s adaptation of Irvine Welsh’s classic Trainspotting, with AD’s own Pam Hilton playing Mark’s Mother, in the book’s original home, Edinburgh.

Eleanor Dennison in NTC’s “Tartuffe” - 26/07/2011
Our own Eleanor Dennison will be on tour once more the the Northumberland Theatre Company in, Tartuffe, Moliere’s hilarious and outrageous classic.
In this new performance version by Stewart Howson, Eleanor will play the role of the sassy and no nonsense “Dorine” – a role we’re positive she will relish and thrive in.

Ria Meera Munshi breaks World Record! -
Our very own Ria Meera Munshi was the choreographer who created the world’s largest Bollywood dance with 1,400 dancers all performing the same routine together at Manchester’s Mela on the 23rd of July.
Thanks to her years of training and hard work we are proud to congratulate her for bringing the Guinness World Record to Manchester. See more about this amazing feat here.

Our very own Sarah Oldknow is performing the role of Mother in Real Life Theatre Company’s show; Cut It Out.

Michael & Justine open in Stoke! - 20/06/2011
Page-2-Stage open their interpretations of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, and the classic story Robin Hood, in repertory, at Stoke’s Trentham Gardens this week.
Performing in the huge saddle-span, surrounded by the stunning Italian Gardens, and picturesque lake, the performances star our own Justine Bailey as Juliet and Maid Marian, and Michael Justice as Friar Laurence and Will Scarlet.

Aisling Caffrey wraps on set and heads for the boards - 20/05/2011
Actors Direct’s very own Aisling Caffrey has been in high demand recently, wrapping two independent Shorts, “The Small Garden,” and “Internalised,” the later of which has just screened at the Canned Film Festival.
Now, she’s heading straight back to the stage in In A Moment’s “Barefaced: Stripped Back Theatre” which will be playing at the Blue Orange Theatre in Birmingham. We thoroughly advise you check it out.
